Saturday night my power supply went bad, but thanks to a loan from TG9SO I could continue to work to the end of the contest. My thanks go to all operators who patiently and very disciplined waited in the pile-up for their turn! For those who could not make it this year I hopefully will have a chance to work them next year.

VK2APK: This was my 500th cotest. But it was not a pleasant one.It was an exercise in patience. Sunday was even more disappointing than Saturday. There was so little activity from Japanese stations.I was often tempted to give up. Only extreme perseverance enabled me to make more than 200 contacts. But it was very frustrating. Many thanks for last year's plaque and I have written a letter also to the donor.
VK2XT: A friendly and enjoyable contest.
VK4DZ: It is a great pity that so few Japanese stations were on air during this, their own country's contest - a very poor effort.
